Jodi Bloom joins the Virtual Center for Velo-Cardio-Facial Syndrome, Inc. as its Director of Development and Community Relations. Jodi has had a long history working in the sector of charitable organizations and community service. She graduated from New York University magna cum laude with dual degrees in Sociology and Hebrew and Judaic Studies. She received her Master’s Degree in Jewish History from Southampton University in England. Mrs. Bloom’s professional life includes working for the Jewish Women's Foundation at UJA/Federation (United Jewish Appeal/Federation of Jewish Philanthropies) in New York City followed by a position as Assistant Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Florida. She then moved back to New York to take a position as Manager of Donor Relations with the Jewish Communal Fund. In 2007, Jodi married Evan Bloom of South Africa and moved to Johannesburg where Evan’s business interests were located. The couple eventually moved to the Syracuse, NY area where their sons Isaac and Benjamin were born.
